Franklin James “Frank” Beutow age 83 of Bloomington IL passed away at 7:38 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his residence. His funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Thursday (April 20, 2017) at the Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Pastor Josh Beutow will be officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-12 noon Thursday at the Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, IL with military rites accorded at the cemetery by the Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor Guard. The family suggests memorials be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Frank was born September 15, 1933 in Bloomington, IL the son of Paul and Leona Carr Beutow. He married Susie Beutow on August 23, 1968 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She survives.

Also surviving, 5 children, Mary Ann (Jeff) Spencer, Wilmette, IL, Linda (Craig) Barber, Normal, IL, Thomas ( Shelly) Beutow, Bloomington IL, Emily (Patrick) Cooper, Normal, IL, Jackie (Dr. Nikhil Chokshi) Beutow - Chokshi, Bloomington, IL, 12 grandchildren and1 brother, Robert (Barb) Beutow, Devils Lake, North Dakota.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Charles, Paul, and Larry Beutow, 3 sisters, Diane Phillips, Mary Allen, and Juanita Barnhill.

Frank was an Electrician while serving in the US Air Force for 20 years and obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for the Eureka Williams Company for 27 years and retired in 1999. He was a member of Tri-Lakes recreation club and Bloomington Moose Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.
